Since moving to the Lowcountry in 2015, life has been full of crazy twists and turns. One of my favorite turns has been meeting Emily and Adam. Their love is something to celebrate and their friendship is something we treasure! Thanks for letting me capture some images of this special time!
Greyson is a man on the move! We had a laughter and fun-filled session at Hagood Mill in Pickens, SC. Most of these are candids because getting this little man to sit still was quite the challenge!
Since moving to Beaufort, I haven't had the opportunity to photograph as much as I would like, so when the opportunity came up to shoot the Junior Service League Jubilee I jumped on it. Beaufortonians love a good party, and when it's for a charitable cause they really show up!
“It's a dangerous business, Frodo, going out of your door," he used to say. "You step into the Road, and if you don't keep your feet, there is no knowing where you might be swept off to."
Well we've moved again! I'm so often reminded that the only constant in life is change. Every time I start to get comfortable, life finds another way of stretching me, of forcing me to grow. I'm challenged, overwhelmed, and grateful for this crazy life I get to lead. A new school means new obstacles, new students, and new head shots for P's school website! I'm glad I got to take some shots of my favorite person, and I'm looking forward to this chapter of our lives together.
I am so in love with how this shoot turned out! This sweet family decided to get family photos done while on vacation in Charleston, and it was such a pleasure to spend this time with them. We enjoyed the Avenue of Oaks and had the place almost entirely to ourselves. The affection the Wood family had for each other was such a blessing to me, I hope you enjoy this shoot as much as I did!
For we live by faith, not by sight.

I had such a great time meeting this sweet family! Emily is a beautiful spirit - she brought so many personal touches to her shoot, from her sweet Southern monogram to a custom sign from her grandfather's. Congratulations Emily!
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
1 Corinthians 13:4-5
My smart and beautiful cousin got married! I was blessed to be a part of the wedding party, so I didn't grab anything of the wedding itself, but I hope you enjoy my favorite snaps from the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! The wedding was held in the historic Boyce Chapel in downtown Columbia, an absolutely beautiful location. The wedding was gorgeous, the bride was lovely, and the day went off without a hitch! Congrats Doni and Brandan!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
This family holds such a special place in my heart. It was an absolute joy to photograph Annie Laurie's senior photos. I can't believe this smart, talented, hilarious girl is graduating high school already! Congratulations!
"Love is friendship set on fire."

I'm so glad I had the opportunity to be a part of Jeannie and Brad's special day. When I first met them, I was really struck by their friendship: their mutual understanding, loyalty, confidence, and love really shone through. This is a couple that won't let anything get them down, not even a hurricane on their wedding day!
"We believe in celebrations, both big and small."
I'm so excited to share some moments from my mother's 50th birthday celebration. Coffee and dessert were the tastes of the day, and we had no shortage of friends. I hope she was surprised!
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go!"
-Dr. Seuss, Oh The Places You'll Go
"I love you."
It's not every day that you get to watch your little brother marry the love of his life. The wedding was a perfect reflection of their personalities and I couldn't be more happy for them as they begin their lives. Congrats you two!
So happy to be able to share these bridal portraits of my now sister-in-law, Elissa! I've had the pleasure of photographing several brides, and they're one of my favorite subjects, but this shoot will always be dear to my heart. Elissa has a beautiful spirit and a compassionate heart. I hope I captured that for her. Shot in Charleston, SC.
